Overview: What does an Art Director do?
Art directors manage the creative efforts of individuals or teams engaged in layout, concept, style and approach to visual communications and media. Formulate design and approach based on the needs of the client and overall message. They monitor and approve details such as graphics, font, artwork, video, audio and copy. Art directors present the final work to the clients for approval. Knowledge of marketing, media, computers, visual arts, and customer relationships is often required.
