Work with and assist dentists during dental examination and treatment of patients. Make patient comfortable, prepare patient for treatment, and obtain dental records. Give dentist proper instruments and materials during examination. Sterilize and care for dental instruments and perform a variety of other simple duties. May also arrange appointments, keep records, send statements, receive payments and order supplies.
