How it works

Three steps. Zero guessing.

Every other career test hands you a PDF and wishes you luck. We give you the days to actually try the work and find out for yourself.

1

Take the test

63 fast questions about how you think, work, and recharge. About 10 minutes, no email wall in the middle.

See your matches

Every one of 215 careers scored against your own answers and ranked from best fit to worst, plus the eight kinds of work that actually give you energy.

3

Try the work

A few minutes a day doing what the career is really made of. Say which parts you enjoyed, and your ranking re-sorts around them, so the longer you go the surer it gets.

Why JobQuiz is different

The only career test
you can actually try.

Most tests hand you three job titles and a personality label, then wish you luck. Yours is scored against 215 real careers, and then it drops you inside the work of them a few minutes at a time, so you know from doing rather than guessing.

“People spend 4 years and $100k discovering a career isn't for them. Spend ten minutes finding out first.”

What “trying a career” feels like

This is a real Day-1 exercise from the UX Designer track. Thirty seconds, see if it sparks anything. That spark (or the lack of it) is the entire product.

The vanishing signups

A fitness app's signup page loses 60% of visitors. It asks for name, email, password, phone, age, weight, height, and goals, all on one screen. What would you test first?

Questions, answered

The short version: the test is free, then a free 3-day trial, then $79 a year. Cancel any time.

Is the career test free? +
Yes. All 63 questions are free, no credit card and no email wall. At the end you can start a free 3-day trial to see your matches and try the work for yourself.
What happens after the test? +
You start a free trial. You see your career matches ranked against your answers, and each day you do one five-minute lesson that drops you inside the real work of a career. You say which parts you enjoyed, and your ranking re-sorts around them, so the longer you go the surer it gets.
Is this a subscription? +
Yes. It starts with a free 3-day trial, then it is $79 a year. You can cancel any time from your account, and if you cancel before the trial ends you are never charged. The exact date of the first charge is shown before you enter any card details.
How is this different from other career tests? +
Other tests end where the real question begins. A match score is a prediction; ours comes with a way to test it. We are the only career test that lets you fact-check your results by doing the actual work, five minutes at a time.
What if I don't like what it says? +
Then it did its job. The point is to learn which kinds of work energise you and which drain you before you commit years to the wrong one. A confident no is worth far more than a hopeful maybe, and it is a lot cheaper than finding out after a degree. You can cancel any time.
