As of 11 August 2026, JobQuiz no longer offers new subscriptions or purchases. Everything on this page continues to apply to existing subscriptions and past purchases: how each plan bills, how to cancel, and every case where money comes back are all unchanged.
JobQuiz has a few ways to pay. The career report is $19.99 today and $19.99 a month after that, with a 30-day money-back guarantee and no trial. The older yearly plan opens with a 3-day free trial and then bills once a year; the monthly plan is billed immediately and renews each month. Depending on how you reach us you may instead be offered a $17.00 monthly plan that opens with a 3-day free trial, a $4.99 monthly plan charged today with no trial, a $5.99 monthly plan that opens with a 7-day free trial, or a one-time $12.00 purchase of your top 10 matches with no subscription. Whichever you are on, this page tells you exactly what you pay and when, how to cancel in a couple of taps, and every case where money comes back. There is no phone line to sit on and nobody who will try to talk you out of leaving.
Yearly plan
Once the $72.00 yearly charge has landed and you decide JobQuiz is not for you, you can put $36.00 back on your own card in under a minute. No email, no form, nobody to talk to. It is all on your account page:
Open your account page. It has a Refund eligibility line that reads Eligible for the first 14 days after the charge.
Tap Eligible (or tap Cancel my plan, which takes you to the same screen).
Confirm, and $36.00 goes straight back to the card you paid with. Your access ends there and then, because half the money is leaving with you.
The 14-day window resets on every renewal, so a yearly charge you did not mean to keep can still be caught if you move quickly. After 14 days the year is no longer refundable, but you can still cancel so it does not renew again and keep access until the end of the year you paid for.
Career report
$19.99 today, then $19.99 a month
Your card is charged $19.99 at checkout and your full report is available immediately on a permanent link. That report is yours to keep, permanently, whatever happens to the subscription. The $19.99 a month after that is for being able to keep asking your report questions and getting answers built from your own results.
It renews monthly until you cancel, and cancelling takes two taps from the link in your receipt. Cancel and nothing further is charged; you keep the report and lose only the asking. This changed on 10 August 2026. Anyone who bought before that date paid a single charge with no renewal, and that is still true of their purchase.
30-day money-back guarantee. If you do not think the report was worth what you paid, email us within 30 days of the purchase and we refund it in full. You do not have to give a reason, and you keep access to the report either way. This is a change-of-mind refund, which the subscription plans below do not offer.
Yearly plan

We collect a card at checkout but charge nothing for the first 3 days. On day 3 the subscription starts and your card is charged $72.00 for the year, then renews once a year until you cancel.
The exact date of that first charge is shown before you enter any card details and repeated in the email we send the moment your trial begins. Cancel any time before that date and you are never charged.
Monthly plan
$12.99/month, immediately
The monthly plan has no free trial. Your card is charged $12.99 at checkout and access starts right away, then renews at $12.99 each month until you cancel. The amount, and that it is charged immediately, are shown before you enter any card details.
Cancel any time to stop the next charge; you keep access to the end of the month you have paid for. A monthly charge is not refunded on a change of mind, but the full-refund cases below apply to it in full.

30-day money-back guarantee on your first charge. If the first $5.99 charge lands and you do not think it was worth it, email us within 30 days of that charge and we refund it in full. You do not have to give a reason. Later monthly charges are not refunded on a change of mind; cancelling stops the next one, and the full-refund cases below always apply.
$4.99 monthly plan

This plan has no free trial. Your card is charged $4.99 at checkout and access starts right away, then renews at $4.99 each month until you cancel. The amount, and that it is charged immediately, are shown before you enter any card details.

Pay what you want to start
$0–$12 today, then $72.00/year
You choose what to pay today, from $0 to $12. Anything you pay today is a one-time, non-refundable unlock fee ($0 means no charge today). Either way a 3-day free trial begins, and on day 3 your card is charged $72.00 for the year, renewing annually until you cancel.
Cancel before day 3 and the $72.00 is never charged. The annual charge is refundable exactly like the yearly plan above (half back within 14 days); the amount you chose to pay today is not.
One-time top 10 matches
$12.00, once
A single $12.00 charge for your top 10 matches, delivered immediately on a private link. No trial, no subscription and no renewal, so there is nothing to cancel.
Because it is delivered at once, it is not refundable on a change of mind. The full-refund cases below still apply to it in full.
Other small one-time purchases we offered alongside a report, such as keeping a report permanently or an optional tip, work the same way as the one-time purchase above: a single charge, delivered immediately, with no renewal and nothing to cancel. They are not refundable on a change of mind, and the full-refund cases below apply to them in full.
On the career report plan, open the manage link in your receipt email and choose to cancel. Two taps, no account needed, and it is the same link that was on the payment sheet before you paid. Lost the email? Write to us and we will cancel it for you. Cancelling stops the next monthly charge, and you keep the report permanently either way.
On every other plan, go to your account page and choose to cancel. No phone call, no email, and nobody will try to talk you out of it. We send a confirmation once it is done.
Cancelling stops the next charge but does not cut your access short. You keep JobQuiz until the end of the period you have already paid for, then it lapses, and you can resume from the same page any time before that date with nothing about your progress lost.
One thing you may see, once. The first time you cancel, we may offer you 30 more days of free access, because a few days is genuinely not long enough to tell whether a career suits you. Declining is a single tap on the same screen that cancels immediately, with nothing further to click. If you accept, you are not charged during those extra days and you can still cancel at any point inside them. You will only ever be shown this once, whether you take it or not. (If you are inside the 14-day refund window instead, you skip this and go straight to the refund above.)
Beyond the yearly refund above, we refund you completely in these cases, on either plan:
You were charged after cancelling.
You were charged twice for the same period, or charged on an account you did not create.
The Service was substantially unavailable for a meaningful part of a period you paid for, refunded pro-rata for the time it was down.
If your situation does not fit any of these, write to us anyway and explain it. We would rather refund someone who is unhappy than keep money from them. Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe and usually appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
If you are in the UK, EU or another jurisdiction with a statutory cooling-off period for distance contracts, that right applies in addition to this policy and nothing here reduces it.
