These terms govern your use of JobQuiz (the “Service”), operated by JobQuiz (“we”, “us”). By taking the career test, creating an account or starting a subscription, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
The career test is free to take: 63 questions, no account and no payment details required.
What follows the test is a career report. The report is ordered rather than subscribed to: a single payment, no renewal, and no stored payment method. The report's contents carry no charge, but every order carries a processing fee, so an order is never free even where the report is. Optional extras can be added to an order and are each priced separately before you add them. Everything you will be charged is itemised on the order summary before you enter any card details.
JobQuiz also offers a 60-day trial, a paid subscription that unlocks one short interactive lesson per day built from real tasks in a career you choose. Section 2 applies only if you start one. Ordering a report never creates a subscription.
JobQuiz is an educational and self-assessment product. It is not career counselling, recruitment, or a guarantee of any employment outcome. Your matches are a model's best estimate from your answers, not professional advice, and you should not treat them as the sole basis for an education or career decision.
A report order is a one-off purchase. You are charged once, the amount shown on the summary you approved, and never again for that order. Nothing renews and no card is kept on file for future charges.
Two of the extras are written for you after payment by an automated system. If one cannot be produced, that item is refunded automatically at the price you paid and we email you to say so. Two others are performed by a person and are delivered within the time stated on the screen where you bought them; if that does not happen, they are refunded in full.
The report is generated from your own answers. It is an educational and self-assessment product, not career counselling, recruitment, or a guarantee of any employment outcome. Pay and outlook figures come from published government data and describe an occupation generally, not a job offer available to you.

Your subscription starts with 3 free days. We collect your payment method at signup but charge nothing during the free period. When it ends, the subscription automatically renews at $79.00 per year and continues to renew each year until you cancel. The exact date of your first charge is shown before you enter payment details and again in the email we send when your trial begins. You can cancel at any time, in two taps, from your account page. Cancel before the trial ends and you are never charged.
Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax we are required to collect. We may change the price of a subscription, but not without telling you by email first and not before your next renewal, so you always have the chance to cancel.
If a payment fails we will email you and retry over several days. Your access continues during that period. If payment ultimately does not succeed, the subscription ends.
Cancel from your account page at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, so you keep access until then rather than losing it the moment you cancel, and you will not be billed again. You can resume before that date from the same page. See our cancellation and refund policy for refunds.
The first time you cancel, we may offer you one additional month of free access before the cancellation completes. This offer is made once per subscription, is free, and declining it cancels your plan immediately from the same screen. Accepting means you are not charged during that month; you can cancel at any time within it, and normal billing resumes afterwards unless you do.
You need an account to use the paid trial. You are responsible for keeping access to the email address on the account, since we sign you in with a link sent to it. Do not share your account. You must be at least 16 years old to create one.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. Where the breach is not serious, we will normally contact you first.
The lessons, the career taxonomy, the matching model and everything else that makes up the Service belong to us or our licensors. Your subscription is a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use them while it is active, and nothing more.
Lesson content is generated with the help of AI and reviewed automatically before it is served. We work hard to make it accurate and genuinely representative of the work, but it is teaching material rather than professional instruction, and it may contain errors. Do not rely on it as guidance for real-world professional, legal, medical, financial or safety-critical decisions.
Your quiz answers and your progress belong to you. See the privacy policy for what we do with them.
We aim to keep the Service running but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. If we discontinue the paid Service entirely, we will refund the unused portion of any period you have paid for.
The Service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for any career, education, or financial decision you make. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here limits any right you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights or what you pay, we will email you before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
